I confess that I'm hurting like crazy over my ex! It hurts that he's out and about like nothing and I'm hurting and crying, why do men take good women for granted :/

I'm so sorry to hear you are hurting. It's horrible to watch someone you love just pick up and move on with their lives as if nothing happened. Just remember - you are comparing your insides to his outsides. Just because you see behavior on the outside doesn't mean that is indicative of what he's feeling inside. All you can do is be gentle with yourself and heal your hurt, so that his actions don't cause you pain. Take care!!

I'm going to be bluntly honest with you because I genuinely want you to move past this in a healthy way. I have been right where you are, and I remember how depressed and angry I felt that my ex was going about his life, seemingly unaffected by our breakup. It killed me inside that he could just drop me after nearly 3 years and continue on without a hitch.

So here's the straight-up truth: If he is the kind of guy who can continue living his life as though nothing changed after your breakup, he's not the guy for you. He doesn't deserve all the mental energy you're spending on him. By letting his nonchalant attitude dictate your emotional state, you're giving him ALL the power over you. He clearly doesn't deserve that! So YOU have to take back the power over your own emotions. He doesn't get to decide your self-worth, he's not in charge of your emotions, and he's certainly not worth wasting your precious time crying over. (I know, easy for me to say, right?)

The guy you're supposed to be with will never treat you as though he doesn't care if you're in his life or not. He won't let you go because he won't want to experience life without you. Stop wasting your time and energy on this clearly unworthy guy who doesn't appreciate how awesome you are and get out there and find the dude who's going to make you his first priority.
