Road to getting my purity ring
Now that I am getting my purity ring, I have found that alot of people that I use to hang around with have seperated away from me. I know that I am maturing, and becoming a better person. But why do I have to go through this process? Also the guy that I was involved with has distanced his self away from me. He says that he's busy, but I know that can't be the case. If me getting my purity is causing him not to even talk to me on a daily basis like he use to, then who am I to questioned if this is the type of person that I want to have in my inner circle?

RE: Road to getting my purity ring
You should surround yourself with people who accept your choices in life (that you think are beneficial to you). Sometimes losing certain people in your life open up more room for new people to enter. Good luck with everything!

RE: Road to getting my purity ring
I understand what you're going through. I too used to wear a purity ring and when I made the decision to wear one all my friends poked fun at me and some even stopped talking to me. If they don't accept your decisions and values then they are obviously not your real friends. As deardiary said, sometimes when people fall out of your life it makes room for others to fall in. Don't take it to heart, it must be a sign that that guy is not the right one for you especially if he isn't going to support you.

It really sucks, but I know its for a good reason. I know God is rearranging things in my life, so that the things that I need will be there.
