so this past fall semester i did an internship while on this internship i met this guy and became friends. well our friendship turned to more and was great but when it was time to leave in January we both said good-bye and went our separate ways. i figured that was it and that i would never see him again but we stayed FB friends. well 4 days later he posted on my FB that i should come out to see him, (i live on the east coast he on the west) i laughed and told him to stop teasing about the cold, he then said whos teasing. this started us texting back and forth and making plans for me to go out there. well we decided that i would fly out there and we would go to vegas the weekend of valentines day, meanwhile we would text back and forth everyday several times a day. i flew out there and he paid for everything for 5 days while i was there, he also insisted that i stay through v-day (i was originally suppose to leave that day), he got me a gift and everything. well since ive gotten back texts have been few far inbetween but then he pulls me in w texts days later saying he misses me and that hes having dreams about me....well now its been 4 days and the last text was short and rude. i texted him the next day to see if he was ok, and nothing!!!! i am wasting my time holding out hope that this was something more? i feel like that stupid girl who didnt use her brain!!!!!!

In all honestly, yeah probably. Did you sleep with him after the valentines day woo-ing?

It can be hard to face sometimes, but if a man wants to be with you then he'll make the effort. He has no right to send you rude messages and don't accept anything less than respect from this guy (or any guy for that matter)

We had slept together back during the internship which is why i didn't think this was a sex thing but am thinking just chalking this up to a fun time but i was just a blinded girl....thanks for the encouraging words though!!

Relax girl, this kind of think happens to all of us. So you fell for a guy, and he turned out to be a bit of an idiot/waste of time. It's all good, don't feel stupid! You had some fun times, that's all that matters. Think about it: if you were a guy, got some action on Valentines day, but nothing long-term came out of it, people would just say "That guy got lucky. Nice one." It shouldn't be any different for a woman. Forget him and move on. He was rude, so he doesn't deserve a second of your precious time or thoughts, onward to bigger and better things girl!
