Are there any rules in Bettyville?

Glad you asked! There are indeed; check out the community rules, Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

How do I join?

Easy peasy. Just go to pinkkisses.com/bettyville and click the big “join now!” button on the top half of your screen. You’ll be asked to agree to our rules and terms, and then you’ll give us a little info and click on the link we send to your email address. You’re in! Simple as that!

How do I leave?

Aw, we hate to see you go, but we love to watch you walk away. ;)   If for any reason you really want to leave Bettyville, just shoot an email to concierge@pinkkisses.com. Make sure the subject is: leaving Bettyville. We’ll send you a private response just to make sure it’s really you and not someone trying to be cute on your behalf, and once you confirm, you’ll no longer be a member of the Bettyville community.  By the way, if something in particular happened in the community that made you want to leave, we want to know about it, so we can handle it appropriately.

Crap! I forgot my username or password… or both.

It happens. No biggie! On the Bettyville homepage at sign-in, just click on one of the little hyperlinks next to the sign-in fields – the ones that say “forgot username?” or “forgot password?” – and we’ll help you out from there. If you’re already in Bettyville, just click on view profile in the sidebar & you’ll see an option to change your password.

How do I add a post?

On the Bettyville homepage, choose the group that makes the most sense for what you want to talk about, click on its title, and then in the upper right hand corner, click on the button that says “spark a conversation.” Tada! Everything from there is self-explanatory.

How do I add a comment?

Underneath the part of the conversation you want to add to, look for the button toward the right hand side that says “Reply.” Click on it and you’ll be given a field to type in and submit your comment.

Can I create a group?

Not quite yet, but if you have a brilliant idea you’d like to share with us, just email concierge@pinkkisses.com.

What can’t I talk about?

Just use your best judgment and don’t be a jerk. If you need to get some stuff off your chest, perfect; that’s what we’re here for. But when you’re talking about your ex or his new flame or anyone else who’s causing you grief, don’t use real names. We’re not here to slander anybody; we’re here to help one another. And since we’re on the subject, be nice to one another in Bettyville too. Don’t you dare encourage anyone to do anything stupid to harm herself or anybody else. Everybody’s got their own battle to fight, and we’re here to be supportive, so play nice, bombshells. Don’t make Betty tell you twice.

What if so-&-so is being a jerk?

If you’re hanging out in Bettyville, you’re a strong, smart woman, so politely stand up for yourself (or anyone you see being mistreated) and let them know what they’re doing isn’t cool. Also, the Pink Kisses team about it right away by shooting a quick email to concierge@pinkkisses.com with a short summary of what’s going on. We want everyone in Bettyville to feel comfortable, and Betty doesn’t tolerate any BS. So, if there’s a problem that won’t resolve itself, let us know. We’ll get it taken care of.

Can I use facebook or twitter to sign in?

Nope, sorry… not just yet. We’re working on it though, so perhaps in the future we’ll offer those options. Stay tuned!

How do I sign up for notifications when someone starts a new conversation or replies to one of mine?

When you first register to be a member of Bettyville, you’re given options about what sorts of notifications you want to receive; if you’ve already registered and want to change something, though, go to any conversation in any group and find the “group jump” section in the lower right hand corner of your screen. Click on the dropdown menu, choose “user control panel” and a series of options will appear down the left hand side of your screen. Under “miscellaneous,” you can customize your Bettyville experience and receive as many or as few kinds of notifications as you’d like.

Why did I get banned?

Probably because you were a jerk to someone. Bettyville’s a supportive environment that doesn’t tolerate jackassery. If you want to beg your way back in, short us an email at concierge@pinkkisses.com and we’ll think about it. Know, though, that we reserve the right to ban whomever we please if other members are being made uncomfortable.

How do I ban someone?

If someone’s harassing you or any fellow Bettyville members, try your best to tell them what’s up – politely of course – and explain why their behavior is unacceptable. Give them an opportunity to straighten up; after all, we’re all about giving people the tools they need to improve, but we DON’T believe in third chances. If after you’ve discussed the issue with them they still can’t get their act together, tell us about it. Email concierge@pinkkisses.com & we’ll get it taken care of.

How do I buy something?

Just look around pinkkisses.com and select whatever you’d like; you can choose from the bundles we’ve already put together, or custom build your selections a la carte. Once you finish shopping, just click the “check me out!” button in your shopping bag and fill in all your information. Boom! You’re good to go.

What if I’m under 18 and want to buy goodies?

No worries – you’ll just need a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to complete the purchase for you.

What if I’m outside the United States?

We’re working hard to make our goodies available all around the globe. For now, they’re available in the U.S., with virtual goodies (our Betty Action Plan & virtual gifts) available in Canada and Mexico.

I have a special code. Where do I enter it?

Once you’ve finished shopping and are ready to check out, there’s a spot for you to use your special code. In the shopping bag, look for a window called “extra kisses” and enter your code there.

How long should it take for my emails and/or texts to start?

They should start within 24 hours of your purchase. When you order in the few hours after midnight, it can take a little longer for the order to kick off.

What if I’m not getting my emails or texts?

If you’re not getting our emails, make sure to check your spam filter first and allow our emails to come through if they’re getting stuck. If you still aren’t receiving emails and/or our texts aren’t coming through, just drop us a line at holla@pinkkisses.com with your order confirmation info included, and we’ll check into it for you.

What if I want to send things to more than one friend?

First off, you’re awesome and your friends are lucky to have you around. You can buy PK goodies for as many friends as you want, and to make sure the right goodies go to the right girls, just complete a separate transaction for each. You’ll receive separate confirmation emails to help you keep track.

Will my friend know I was the one who bought stuff for her?

Yep! She’ll receive an email letting her know she’s been kissed, and that she’ll be getting sweet surprises from PK, courtesy of you.

What if my friend doesn’t like the texts or emails? Can she stop them?

No problem. At the end of each of our texts, there’s an option to reply “STOP” to cancel, and we have a link at the end of each email offering an out, too. We hope she loves our stuff, but if she doesn’t, we can take a hint.

What if I need flowers &/or chocolates delivered on specific days?
